Maasai Wedding

This weekend we pulled off the highway in Moshi to watch a Maasai wedding which I though was pretty cool. I hope that when I get married I can make my relatives do something like walk 10 kilometers in the African sun… Here are some of the pictures from the afternoon. There was a lot of singing and dancing and it seemed like everybody was having a lot of fun. Also, they were riding camels!

Read about the Maasai people here

They probably could fit more hay on there…

Later we went to a “snake farm” and saw all types of African snakes including the Black Mamba shown here (not really don’t worry mom)

Cecilia definitely likes the snakes more than me…

Today was our last day of classes at TCDC! Tomorrow we are going to work at Selin Hospital, and then I’ll be moving to Moshi to work full time at Mawenzie! 🙂
